Seeds of Hope SPN is a network of the South Australian Suicide Prevention Networks since February 2020
The Seeds of Hope SPN Committee acknowledges the First Peoples of the land on which we met as the traditional custodians. We pay our respects to the Elders of the Ngadjuri, Peramangk and Kaurna Nations on which this land jointly meets upon, both past, present, and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture, and hope of the oldest living culture on Earth. We acknowledge the sacred connection to this land which was, is now and always will be, traditional Aboriginal Land.
We recognise those with a lived and living experience of suicide, as well as those lives lost to suicide, and those bereaved. We honour and acknowledge the wisdom and insight and encourage us all to care for ourselves and each other, those that have survived, and the families and loved ones bereaved.
We acknowledge that talking and reading about suicide can raise feelings of sadness. If you are worried about yourself or someone else, there are a range of support services both local and national on the Seeds of Hope Resource page.
Our vision is for compassionate, resilient and connected communities that support wellbeing and prevent suicide.
